Former Prime Minister Ferenc Gyurcsány shared his opinions on the expulsion of journalists from the Parliament, on Viktor Orbán and the Pharaon-case on the ATV Start morning television program. Recently, István Tiborcz, the son-in-law of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, has become a co-owner of a valuable property in the industrial park. It is yet not clear if the property will be used but according to the recent statements, the city of Komárom is expecting that a South Korean company will set up its factory on the land. The South Korean company would arrive to Hungary following negotiations with the Hungarian government - reports investigative journalism website Direkt36.

The approval ratings of the main political parties in Hungary has not changed meaningfully compared to September, pollster Medián said in its survey conducted on an assignment by weekly HVG in mid-November. Far-right nationalist Jobbik party is slightly less popular than in September, whereas the approval ratings of opposition parties, the Democratic Coalition and the Socialist Party (MSZP), as well as of the ruling Fidesz party, remained practically unchanged.

Hungarians regard corruption as a problem that is worsening, József Péter Martin, Transparency International's (TI) managing director for Hungary, said on Wednesday. The majority thinks that the government's measures against it are inadequate, he said. Martin stated that Hungarians feel impotent when it comes to fighting against corruption.
