Online news portal Index reported that the hunting lodge built from an EU subsidy of 35 million forints was not a single case in the life of the mayor of Izsák. The ruling Fidesz mayor, József Mondok had another house built for himself earlier, at that time from EU funds of 50 million forints.
As such, it is fortunate that Fidesz is in a war with Brussels, otherwise Fidesz mayors would get even more than 85 million forints of EU money.
The Democratic Coalition wants to know when the Fidesz mayor of Izsák will be handcuffed - now or only after the replacement of the government when handcuffs will also be slaped on the prosecutor general's hands, who provides protection for every Fidesz criminal?
The DK has contacted the European Anti-Fraud Office when the first hunting-house came to light. We do hope that the first guests of the hunting-house officially presented as a touristic development will be the investigators of the European Anti-Fraud Office.
