No matter how hard Mr Orbán is trying to get rid of his old cronies, he just cannot get rid of himself. He is too old for his system. The internal contradictions are starting to be more and more apparent, as the prime minister is trying to keep a balance between the heavily centralised government, the local authorities and the oligarchy. As much as he is trying to find a way out, the system is crumbling under its contradictions and inefficiency. By taking away power from the local authorities, the health service and the schools, he made things worse, instead of making them easier and more transparent.
