Viktoria Dalko a professor in Harvard, and living in the US for many years contacted me maybe two years ago asking me to participate as a co-author in a book to be written about the reasons, effects, the lessons to be concluded from the financial crisis which started in 2008. After some hesitation I accepted the request.
The book is already in the market, it can be ordered on the Internet. The publisher – John Wiley & Sons, one of the most well known American publishing companies is predicting the edition by mid-June. Regulating competition in stock markets – is the title of the book. It gives me a moderate pride to have worked amongst others with Lawrence R. Klein, a Nobel Prize winner who is a co-editor of the book as well. The 92-year-old Klein was awarded the prize in 1980 for the creation of econometric models and their application to the analysis of economic fluctuations and economic policies.
