According to the survey of the National Széchenyi Library, published by the daily Magyar Nemzet, an average Hungarian of more than 15 years of age spends 46 percent of his or her free time with watching TV, 24 percent listens to the radio, while 15 percent surfs the Internet. Covering a thousand respondents, the survey shows that Hungarians spend 7 percent of their free time with reading newspapers, while only 4 percent will read a book. Meanwhile, the survey also proves that people hardly do any sports as they spend only 2 percent of their free time with it, not unlike with going out to a restaurant, café or just going out.
